In Spring 2023, for MSUS 696: Project Based Learning I, Chatham University asked our class to consult with them and determine the usefulness and feasibility of the university undertaking biodiesel production from oils leftover from our dining hall. We were given a semester to talk to stakeholders, research relevant legislation, make economic predictions, speak to the manufacturer, determine the maximum output based on available inputs, determine the overall benefits, and present this final presentation to the University President and other stakeholders at Chatham University.
